I probably shouldn't have said that out loud...

"Wow, have we forgotten about some holiday or something? It's never this quiet for a Monday..."
Only a moment later...
"Guys, apparently no one can reach us from an external line! Wait, every phone in the company can only be called internally! Bugger!"
"... ... Can't we just pretend we don't know and leave it be?"
Because blue skies + sunshine + three hours of sleep = zero work ethic

Update:
Enthusiastic sys admin from the telephone team: "Well, it looks like it's up and working again! We don't know why, but at least it's working!"
Helpdesk employees: *collective groan* "Shame..."
Me: "Well at least it's nearly time for my break..."
